More South African bodies have been found in a collapsed church building in Nigeria, increasing from 67 to 84. This is according to SABC’s Channel Africa and SAfm this morning.
“The death toll has increased and 17 more bodies have been found,” South Africa’s high commissioner to Nigeria, Lulu Louis Mnguni.
“The search for those unaccounted for had been called off and those people were now alleged dead.”
A total of 349 South Africans were at the Synagogue Church of All Nations in Lagos (Nigeria) when the tragedy happened.
