The Rougue Rally confirmed yesterday that one of the world’s only six cars, the McLaren P1, will feature this year’s rally happening on 21until 27 September in Johannesburg.
Worth over R21 Million, the hypercar will be flown over to South Africa from the UK – credit to the Daytona Group, SAP and the McLaren team for making this assignment possible.
The McLaren’s chief test driver, Chris Goodwin, will also be part of this assignment.
The McLaren P1will participates in the 2800 km rally around South Africa’s best roads. Currently, there are only 6 hypercars in the world and the McLaren P1is one of them.
Justin Divaris, CEO of the Daytona Group, said: “The Rogue Rally is all about dream cars, and the car of every man’s dream is the McLaren P1.”
“We’ve brought it in especially for the Rogue Rally and with a torque that crushes competition we can’t wait to see what this incredible piece of machinery can do.”
The Rogue Rally is open to the public for free.
