SuperSport United announced the appointment of its new head coach, Gordon Igesund with immediate effect on a two-year contract.
Igesund will take over Cavin Johnson who mutually agreed to part ways with the club last week.
Khulu Sibiya, the chairman of SuperSport United said: “We are very pleased to welcome Gordon Igesund to the SuperSport United family as our Head Coach.”
“Gordon has proven himself at the highest levels of the game as both a club and a national team coach. His leadership skills and track record for success make him the ideal person to lead this club.”

“I will give everything I have to fulfil the expectations of the SuperSport United Board and continue the culture of success and competitiveness that has become synonymous with SuperSport United. I have 25 PSL games and two Cup competitions to compete for and am confident that I can turn the season around into something positive.”
